Don, a Certified Financial Planner^® practitioner, has been serving his clients’ financial planning needs since 1973. He is the owner of Larkin & Associates, an Arizona licensed Investment Adviser headquartered in Surprise, Arizona. He is a Regional Director for Financial Network Investment Corporation, a national securities broker/dealer (Larkin & Associates is not affiliated with Financial Network).

Don has been a guest on several radio and television interviews from Phoenix to New York City. He has been the featured speaker for local civic and church organizations. He has conducted many seminars and is available to speak to small or large groups on a variety of subjects including Estate Planning, Pre-Retirement Planning, Avoiding Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax Reduction, and Investing for Income. Don’s Bachelor’s degree from Baker University (Baldwin City, Kansas) in Speech and Communications makes him especially qualified to speak to groups and to individuals about their own financial needs.

With his wife, Don co-authored the practical financial guide for retirees, The Larkin Guide: Enjoying the Riches of Retirement. The book was featured in USA TODAY in a special section on financial planning.

Don has served several years on the Board of Directors, including time as Chairman, of Mingus Mountain Estate Residential Center, Inc., located near Prescott, Arizona. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Sun Valley Lodge, a retirement living community in Sun City AZ.

Sue, a Certified Financial Planner^® practitioner, has been providing financial planning services since 1983. She is an Advisory Associate of Larkin & Associates, an Arizona licensed Investment Adviser headquartered in Surprise, Arizona. She is a Registered Representative of Financial Network Investment Corporation, a national securities broker/dealer (Larkin & Associates is not affiliated with Financial Network). Sue is a past president of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning.

With a Master’s degree in Education from Arizona State University, Sue has been an instructor of investment courses at the ASU Center for Lifelong Learning in Sun City and Surprise. In 1994 she, along with the Center, received a "Creative Programming" award from the National University Continuing Education Association – Division of Programs for Women, for her course entitled "My Husband Always Handled the Money." She is also available as a program speaker.

Michael has been providing investment and financial planning services since 1999. A former teacher, Michael is well suited for delivering educational seminars to groups both large and small on a variety of financial topics including Qualified Retirement Plans, Investment Strategies, Tax Planning and Retirement Planning. He does this quite regularly with a number of employer groups and school districts in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Michael also sees his individual interactions with his clients as an opportunity to educate.

Michael has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Washington Education Foundation, a non-profit organization which raises money to benefit and promote educational programs in the Washington School District located in Phoenix, Arizona.
