Business Continuity Plan

Larkin & Associates shall maintain a "Business Continuity Plan" (aka Disaster Recovery Plan). The plan will cover safety, network failure, telecommunications interruptions, utilities failure, communications with clients and employees, training of employees, testing of the plan, and adequacy of emergency procedures of service providers, among other important procedures to recover from a business interruption.

The "Business Continuity Plan" (BCP) will be activated in the event of a significant business disruption.  We understand the need to be able to continue material business operations and maintain mission-critical business units and systems should an event occur.  The plan will cover safety, network failure, telecommunications interruptions, utilities failure, communications with clients and employees, training of employees, testing of the plan, and adequacy of emergency procedures of service providers, among other important procedures to recover from a business interruption.

In planning for potential significant business disruptions, Larkin & Associates has studied a number of outcomes from varying scenarios, including as examples only, a disruption to a single building, a citywide business disruption, and a regional disruption. Our plans are intended to permit the continuation of key business operations during most types of disruption by resuming mission-critical operations, within minutes for minor disruptions or within the same business day for more serious disruptions. To assist in maintaining business continuity, we will maintain back-up technology processing and/or communication ability in alternate locations.

In case of an extreme disruption, where immediate continuation of business may not be practical, Larkin & Associates will implement emergency actions that will allow clients prompt access to the firm and/or its owners, officers and/or its advisory affiliates. Our primary means of communication with our clients will be through our telephone at 800-729-6155 or 623-972-6155. If we are not able to answer the telephone line, please leave a voice mail message and we will return all calls as soon as possible. Our voice mail message will leave instructions and/or ongoing reports on the status of the effects of the event on Larkin & Associates and our ongoing efforts.

Our plan is designed to permit our firm to resume business operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the disaster and the significance of our business disruption.

Larkin & Associates business continuity plan is subject to continual modification and upgrading and contains details of a confidential and proprietary nature. Therefore, the plan will not be distributed in full to the public; however, periodic updates will be posted on our web site to keep clients informed of changes to the plan that may affect them.
